Eubank and Tyree - Recent Art Work

Here is art, I recently photographed, by two artists who's work I enjoy.  I have been doing photography for  these woman for quite awhile and am always amazed by the wonderful technique and vision they have. The first two images are work by Tanya Tyree.  These are ceramic sculptures done with a hard to photograph iridescence, opalescent glaze.  The technique creates a lovely quality and color palette, which I just have to deal with.  The other work, by Kim Eubank, is done in bee's wax, using an encaustic method.  Ms. Eubank is known for her work with enameling which is sold under the name MetalQuilts.

BHC Annual Report

Time to get back to the blog and update you with images and projects from 2012.  The images below were for the recent Better Housing Coalition Annual Report.  As I have said before, this is an organization I have been working with for a long time.  In fact, since BHC started.  The first image was used for the cover shot.  While it was a wonderful, care free image of a young man blowing bubbles, it was anything but easy to pull off.  The other two are portraits of people involved with BHC.
